Guests arriving for Christmas lunch were soon crying tears of joy as family & friends of Natasha Lee & Jamie Grimison realised they were attending the couple's wedding.
The Christmas Day ruse took four weeks to organise with bride Natasha planning the entire ceremony under the guise of a Christmas lunch, asking everyone to dress up as a portrait photographer had been invitied.
"It was a bit cheeky but to see the faces of all our friends & family today is priceless," the radiant bride said.
"Jamie & I thought it would be a good time to get married because all of our family were going to be in town and the most important thing about our wedding was to have everyone together."
The intimate garden ceremony saw about 30 guests watch the couple exchange vows while the celebrant spoke of the strong foundation of love a good marriage is built on.
The couple met through their siblings, have been together for 3 years and have a two year old son, Zach.
The bride's mother Majorie Lee said she was thrilled about the marriage and remembers the first time Jamie said he would marry her daughter.
" He was plucking up the courage to ask her on a date." Marjorie said.
"He said can you ask for me?" and I gave a flat no.
"He turned to me and said, ' I am going to marry that girl one day'."
The couple are planning a honeymoon in Fiji early next year.
